Hey guys...I keep coming across good deals on trucks lately.I found a clean 81 150 4x4 6:inch lift&36s but though I love the body styles I think I need a 3/4 truck hopefully a summons but if not then a gasser till I can afford a swap.just wondering if the 150 is a descent rig?I've heard the frame is weak,any way 318 with the 727

Its got a new car,rebuilt tranny tires&wheels are like new.Needs a new wheel hub,brake booster&main seal is leaking...I can Do all of that myself its really clean.Its just I have to sell a old Harley I have to fund it&kind of hung up on the bike....he only wants a grand but my gear money is all I have put up just bought a new quad &log splitter

are the front of the front fenders cut out?
as long as you don't intend to plow with it, or tow a huge trailer or camper, then a 1500 will be fine.

what gears are in it. those are huge tires. it might need a little more lift. or smaller tires.

i think any truck that runs is worth $1000.

 

Not sure about either...think Im gonna pass my other half said if I sell the knuckle Im gonna feel sick..I think she's right.Ill hold off till taxes&grab the cummins,

 

Toys are fun, but also expensive. Its hard to limit ones self sometimes. I know exactly how you feel haha.

 

Won't be no tax refunds before too long.....
