Default My new brake flare tool.

My new KT brake flare tool.
Awesome.
Make perfect bubble or double flares in less than 30 seconds.

I Spent the day trying it out. and made a video
I think it was a good investment, Its a little pricey but well worth it.
I spent many weekends renting crappy broken flare tools. I spent about the same amount on this tool as the 3 different flare tools offered by autozone, advanced, and Napa That I bought.
All of which were crap IMHO.
Notice im not having to really crank down to hold the line in place like those other flare tools( which also leave all those knurl marks on the Brake line).

I am going to put up a parts list for all the different brake fittings that my truck takes.... So far there are 4 between the MC, ABS module, Prop valve and distribution block.

not bad. i like how simple it looks to operate and i bet it makes perfect flares every time but it look like it really needs to be secured good. i think i still like the snap on double flare kit that i borrowed from my dad. done lots of great flares with it.

Awesome. This would be a great addition to the Tool thread I started a while back: The Right Tool For the Job

Wombat, its a little over $200. Like I said pricey, but well worth it.

it can do 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8 brake or fuel lines.
I am an industrial mechanic so I will probably use it for 3/8 hydraulic lines at work.
Just another tool in the arsenal.
