These dodges are well known to have steering woes and excessive play/road wander. How are the tires wearing?

Do you rotate them regularly?

Check your steering, mine were wearing like that and I needed a new tie rod end.

Go to an alignment place and ask them to check it out, they will tell you what you need. If you don't need anything, then it will just be an alignment for $60-80.

too bad you already did your tie rod ends...would have told ya to get the 08.5+ steering assembly upgrade...truck will drive way better with HD T-steering vs junk Y-steering.

Don't tell mine that. The thing tracks like it's on rails. I drove a few 2nd gens when they were new, and they tracked just fine, too. There's no reason to accept crappy steering.

I realize that now after having tight steering again. Before with the worn tie rod, steering play was pretty crazy and I thought I might need the rock solid bushing, turns out that tie rod end was bad since I bought the truck... Lol. Rides totally different now, and once my current bald tires are replaced, she will be driving like a Cadillac.

At least that's the hopes anyway
