cool redneck thanks, i will take a look this weekend to see what they are and if I can fix. From reading schematic I will not need any extra adapters . i Think mine fall into the 29052 catgory. if that the case they are kind of loosing me with the written directions, i will have to take a look to see.HB-1 or HB-5 label should be on the connector that is stock with the truck correct?
thanks everyone for the welcomes and insight.

You might see Papa Hammer (HammerZ71) driving around Douglas every so often, those are his old stomping grounds...

If you do decide to go back to OEM lights you can get brand new ones with side markers for around $80 at http://www.am-autoparts.com/Dodge/Ra...eadLights.html

nah you dont need to go by the written instuctions there, those are for a snowplow wiring harness. just use the picture for reference. the headlight wiring should be swappable, they just use locking pins. simple easy fix.

or.... you can send the those headlights, and ill send you my stockers! haha

all right thanks, your truck a daily driver, i may take you up on that.ha
One other question for yall, check engine light is on, PO told me there was a programer(?) on truck that the owner before him took off. Would that make sense that the check engine light would be on? I disconnected the ground on the batt. re-connected, stayed off for a few but then came back on. is ther a common fix for this. have not gone to auto parts to see if/what code it is showing.

Do the key dance trick to see what codes there are.

I have a feeling it's likely a 02 sensor code.
