I looked at the guys youtube channel.. All it has is a cat. No muffler.. I personally would run a High flow cat with your choice of muffler.. I have a magnaflow glasspack.. Sounds pretty good.. Would sound even better if it didnt dump right behind the cab

Some are just stupid noise. Some outfits who build them market their products to those who just want noise and so don't concern themselves overmuch with how the system performs -- some are really no better, or are not significantly better, than the stock system. Others build their products for performance with sound as a secondary consideration.

Straight pipes on a highway driven gasser are just stupid noise. A well designed system will allow more power to the wheels, particularly in the idle to 3000-3500RPM range where these three ton beasts need it most.

May I contribute to this? Thanks.the system on my ride designed and built by Doug of Performance Muffler,3 in tube from the collector to the 5In mongo tips.Seamless, all welded NO clamps.JETHOT ceramic coated in/out along with the headers, stainless steel tube.Unit is removed one pic and built around the trans to reduce heat to the pan(oil/tran).I'm not a computer nerd and couldn't get the pic's from photobucket to here for you to see.If your interested go to my garage or punch the avatar to truck build,it's all out in the open during the frame swap.Oh and the plus side nothing has to be moved to take the trans out..

Wow, have you thought about forced induction?

Nice build. Any dyno numbers?

Yes,still have a Ken Bell twin screw in the box along with coolers.Dyno'd 480 hp&460lb torque(chassic dyno)The heart of this strocker is a Forged 4in stroke crankshaft and clearancing of the block.Rev limited to 7200rpm.When the gas prices hit at the time when the motor was built,I put it off.It does rather well without forced induction.Have lots in the build up,it's what I do....Have part numbers up the wazu along with reciepts to just to drive my wife nuts,This is the other woman.HAHA...

I noticed that.

Well, the price of gas isn't dropping any time soon, so install that blower!

Seems strange to call a 3" straight pipe a thing that was designed.

Looks like the trunk lid is missing on your car, man.

Okay. Thats what I thought it had. I am planning on putting that on mine. My truck wouldn't have the snap, crackle, and pop to it and it will be deeper because I have a 360.
