I think it's cool (and half the battle) that you won't need a sticker on your 95 in two years. However, unfortunately, a lot can change in two years, but it's a good plan.

Of course I would say go for the 2000 since you already know the truck inside out having already owned a 95 for a number of years!

but i may do this...my buddy has a 2000 Ram club cab (the one with a door forgot if its ex cab or club cab lol) 5spd 4x4 with 151K...It has a 3in lift kit, bfg mud terrains with about 60% tread. when he put in lift he replaced all 4 control arms, sway bar end links, hub assemblys, rancho 5000 shocks, and ball joints.

this is what the truck needs....Pinion bearing in rear end, but he has a rebuild kit that comes with it, and my trucks rear end is fine... Inner tie rod end, which i just replaced in my truck. bed has rust on fender wells but my bed on my current truck is pretty much mint...plenum needs to be done, but i have a maifold thats been dipped with hughes on my truck....All in all i could buy his truck and make 1 nice 2nd gen ram. he wants 2 grand.....i may do it cuz on his truck doors are good, just minor surface rust starting, the underneath is all solid, interior is flawless, and just a good lookin truck.

dont know what im going to do yet....but to clear things up, yes im lookin to keep my dodge
that sounds like a REALLY good deal. Go For It.

Looks nice.

If you can swing it, buy it.

That truck, minus any rust problems, would be around 4k down here.

ok heres some updated pics finally...just took them so this is how she looks right now.

Im still doing body work, but shes getting there...but heres a before and after pic....ive done alot of bending and pulling to straighten the body back out....doesnt look like it but in the new pics the body is actually straight.....i have the cab corner ready to go on, but last time i was working on it i had a phillips bit on my drill putting in a self tap screw....well the drill kicked the screw out and as drill was spinning pull force i put the bit into my thumb and drilled to the bone......so i havent worked on her in a couple weeks...but when my thumb is good again i just have to rivet on the cab corner then do the front part of door

Why is it blue in one pic, and black in the next?
