Exclamation shackle flip hardware

2nd gen/ extended cab/ solid driveline/ short bed/ 2wd, shackle flip w/ using stock shackle.... is there any need for degree axle shims or a longer driveshaft or eZero rate block?

A zero rate and new ubolts are needed.

What bracket you thinking of using?

No, No and No. I am up 7" over stock and have no issues with drive-line angle.

That is why I answered the way I did.

An example of needing shims would be a case I've had my eyes on...

7"+ lift, shackle flip, using zero rate, using stock block, on D60. Shims were needed for proper pinion angle.

Merc -- you're not using a shackle flip are you?

Also, I'm assuming OP is still on 9.25" axle.

No I am not, never will. If he is going over 7" yea it might need it, but 7"+ would also then need a longer DS shaft, So op how high are you going and why a "cough" shackle kit?

Well my friend he's just asking about doing a shackle flip using the stock shackle on his 2wd. I'm guessing only lift attributed to it. You can do it with aftermarket brackets/shackles or with even the stock bracket/shackle. We just don't know the intended bracket.

In any event, this is not the first time it's been done and fortunately a few ppl here shared their experience.

Mitigate some redundancy. Maybe he left something out. I'm sure he'll let us know.
