Well, my Dodge is gone...
So my financial situation has fallen tremendously over the past two and a half years. I've lost just about it all. Had a decent paying job, bought a house, a car. Lived comfortably. Well, during that time, my son was diagnosed with Autism. So we searched for ways to help him. One of the many ways we tried to give him the help he needed, was a service dog. We raised $15000 for a "so-called" non-profit organization who trains service animals. Well, we were scammed. Every bit of the $15000 was pretty much stolen. Suing wouldnt get us the money back, because its donations. So we accepted our loss and moved on. This job I had didnt offer insurance, and my wife came down with what doctors thought was Uracheal Carcinoma. Bladder cancer. We saw 11 doctors. Nobody could give us an answer. Finally, a doctor in Lubbock performed the surgery. It was a bloodclot in the Rectus muscle. It was removed, and everything seemed fine. The bank decided to throw a curve ball at us. They shorted my ESCROW on my home. So my $850 a month went to $1500 a month. Needless to say we lost the house. So we were forced to move. We transitioned from the small town of Sunray to Amarillo, TX. Took about a $10,000/yr paycut by working for Coca-Cola. Wasnt permanent. But I was there just long enough for us to get behind on other finances, like the car, So I finally found my current job, started making good money again, just not quite enough to catch up on everything. So we started getting repo threats on the car. My only other option was bankruptcy. I couldnt dig myself out. In all that mess, my boy started having seizures. They started becoming more and more severe, so we took him to have an EEG done on his brain. The diagnosed him with Epilepsy. Few days after that, my wife has what the doctors think might be Lupus. And finally! The car is being repoed, so we were forced to trade my pickup for a measly $3000 for a down payment on another car. A much more fuel efficient one. So the Ram is gone, and I'm heartbroken that it is. I learned everything I know about vehicles from that pickup and from this forum. Sure did run strong and get me through the toughest times. But I guess all good things come to an end. I'll be on the lookout for a more decent SUV now, so I guess this is my farewell to the Dodge world. I sure had a blast. God Bless you all, and I pray you all keep Faith even through your toughest times.

You should write an article about that 'charity', and submit it to anyone and everyone, especially newspapers.......

I've gone thru some really tough financial times the last 4 years or so, thankfully no real health issues. In any event I thought I had it tough... now I'm thinking not so much.
Good luck w/ everything

This sucks.
I really hope you get out of it, it's not good hearing about anyone having these sorts of issues.

Wow. Your truck was always one of my favorites. I truly am sorry to hear this. I pray the best for you and your family. And I hope that you wife and son get better. I am sorry that I cannot come up with elaborate words, but know that I truly am sorry to hear about your misfortune.
