Default What torque out put do I need for rolling burnouts?

Hey guys. I have a 2002 24v 2500 cummins 5 spd. What kind of torque do I need to be able to get a rolling burnout at 45-60 mph?

wanting to do a rolling burnout at the speeds you stated, would mean you would have to be out on a public roadway. resulting in you putting others at a dangerously high risk factor.

nothing to do with torque...tires + outside temp + surface + gearing all play factors. there is no set in stone amount of torque needed.

my truck can have trouble doing it due to the amount of traction my tires get. I can still do it, but its rough on the drive train, not to mention burning up $600 worth of rubber is not my idea of a good time..

And what would be the purpose of this anyway??? You have alot of easily impressionable kids around? Send us a video when you get "torqued up" enough to do this feat. Thanks......

put some 13" tire on the back and you should have no problems doing a rolling burnout at 60mph.
