Default I Quit....

Smoking that is....

yup i quit smoking, and i have to say it has been the hardest past few days of my life....my last one was on lunch break tuesday afternoon at about noon....havent had one since, so thats over 4 days....and i was a heavy smoker smoking at least a pack a day if not more....i looked at my pack smoked that last one and said "Im Done".....well been 4 days now, pretty damn proud of myself, but the cravings are going to make me go insane, im not using anything, patches gum etc...i did this cold turkey.......hopefully i wont smoke again, but its getting pretty hard to resist my cravings....

And whoever says "if you make it past the 3 day hump you're good" well thats a load of crap....my cravings are getting worse now that im over the 3 day hump....having a smoke is all i can think about, but i havent caved yet....

I quit one time for three years. Even a year after quitting I'd get an occasional flash of craving for a cigarette.
Mark Twain said something to the effect that quitting smoking was no big deal, he'd done it hundreds of times.
Hang in there 95RAM360, it gets better with time.

I quit smoking every time I put one out

even though I smoke though, I have never smoked in my vehicles. Never let anyone smoke in them either. Don't want them smelling like an ash tray or getting ash or burn marks or stains in them.

Congrats on the effort to quit!

My grandmother quit smoking Kool's cold turkey, she plumped up like a pumpkin. Did quite smoking, but gained a lot of weight.
