my buddy and I did that back in high school 10 years ago on his old datsun pickup to make fun of the rice grinders running around with fart can mufflers.

flow masters do sound decent on 318's...same buddy has a jeep grand cherokee with the 318 in it running a flowmaster and it sounds beefy.

I personaly like Cherry Bombs. I had a Magnaflow and a Flow Master, I still prefer Cherry Bomb. Plus the name and stickers are pretty cool

The super 44's were the best. I suppose a super 10 would be even louder but Idk how deep it is.

I feel like dual chambered flowmasters (super 40 series) may be more restrictive than other one chambered mufflers, but the difference must be minimal. When running my gutted hi flow cat and super 44, then pulling the muffler and comparing..there's really not a big enough difference to notice performance wise.

But I like my exhaust (probably because I'm not an "old" person like some of you), its decently loud outside, and barely any drone in cab.

I have a Super44 on my truck w/360. I love it. Nice rumble at idle. Loud when you get on it. I would describe it as - throaty, loud, with a rumble. I think you would be very pleased.

Leave the true duals, and don't go flowmaster unless you just want it loud which for that you can just straight pipe the truck. I personally like how magnaflow sounds and performs and have had many compliments on how my truck sounds, but if I was to do it again I would go with SLP. Their stuff sounds great, a lot of classic muscle car guys use them and there's a reason why.
