Their stuff sounds great, a lot of classic muscle car guys use them and there's a reason why.
Yeah, SLP makes some good stuff, but, they ask a pretty penny for it as well....

i like the sound of a loud exhaust but i do prefer having a quiet exhaust. having a nice quiet exhaust allows you to hear if there is something wrong and it does not draw as much attention to yourself. leave the loud annoying exhausts for the ricers. let them get pulled over.

now i do have to say i have been thinking about building my own muffler. i was thinking it would be pretty cool to have a home made muffler on a my truck. i figure a 3" pipe in and out out of a muffler would finish off my exhaust nicely.

Super 10 on my 318 is pretty beefy on the low end, but before my y pipe, it was almost the same as straight pipes compared to loudness. Sounds good goin down the road and there is a little drone in the cab.

I have mine straight-piped with no cat to a single Nascar boomtube exhaust tip that exits before the passenger side drive tire. I know it's obnoxious, but man do I love that sound and I've never been able to get that snappy sound and that heavenly backfire sound on decel with any muffler. Yessir, I am that guy that gives truck guys a bad name because of ridiculous db's. I apologize.
