Default Found a 2nd gen stepside for sale

http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/cto/3543476876.html

I was browsing craigslist, and found this. I don't need or want it, despite my fascination for the elusive 2nd gen stepsides.

that thing looks pretty ugly. i think i would rather have a normal short box. it would look a lot nicer. i don't think any of the newer trucks would be able to pull of the stepside box which is why none of them try.

Did Dodge really make a step side Ram? I've never seen one.

apparently they are not a chevy box, it is a fiberglass step side replacement box that was made after market to fit directly on the 2nd gen dodges, they are no longer available. This is what I could find out about them on the net.

it is still ugly. not a big fan of the dually box even on dually trucks. i would rather just see a full size box with wide wheels just like on a vehicle with wide racing slicks.
