^^ Loss of power, yes, with bigger tires. Little vibration, have the tires re-balanced. "Road force" balanced if possible.

thanks wombat ranger..they balanced them before they put them on..i dont know much about tire balancing though is it possible they need balancing again after being only bout 4 days old?

If they need re-balancing after 4 days they didn't something right or weights fell off (if they used weights).

I haven't read too much good about the balancing beads...

how much does it normally cost just to have a set of tires balanced?

Depends on your area. I would think around $10 a tire maybe, maybe a tad cheaper.

so balancing a tire can extremely affect the way it rides and pulls on the road?

its hard to explain..its such a small amount its hard to say exactly what is..my ball joints seem tight so i dont think thats the problem plus the feeling wasnt there with the old tires.. its like a very small shimmy in my steering wheel

Did they use weights or beads to balance the tires?

How's your alignment?

You could try rotating the front to the rear and if the shimmy in your steering wheel goes away you've probably found the culprit.

not sure. he said weights but i dont think there is any thing on the outside of my rim and i dont know if they can be put on the inside of the wheel or not.. and ive had the truck for bout 3 years and have never had it alighned myself but yet again i didnt have this with the old tires
