Opinion on modds- Give suggestions/what not to do!
Okay since i have to drop the tank and replace fuel pump... I stopped the insurance on it and put it on my saturn. I will have bout 800$ a month i can put into it. Any suggestions of modification?
Truck
1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Club cab
Motor- 318
Mileage- Idk napa says its a replaced Jeffersons motor-Meter says 230k
Problems- Little rust bubble on the drivers side box on wheel well. And door bottoms are rusty. otherwise clean and mean
What are your suggestions on what to do to a dodge and what not to do? Have any stories of learning the hard way of what not to do?
Any suggestion is apperciated!
Thanks Robert Powell

First and foremost before any mods are done do a dry/wet comp test on the motor see what the numbers are, then look at mods if things look good. It's not worth spending money on mods if the motor is not up to snuff.
Lot's of basic stuff to do first before mods IE new heads, fix the plenum, change all the fluids, full tune-up.
