Hey, just glad you were able to get it fixed. A flopping panel can be annoying. There just isn't a good way to repair this broken plastic. I tried several methods before coming to this conclusion.
Screws don't seem to be a valid solution, but short of buying new panels. sometimes it is the best of several less than desirable alternatives. I have seen some of the panels from e-bay and some are pretty close on color match and some are not. It is a gamble. Just have to be cautious and use a seller that has a good reputation.

Oh. Gotcha.
It's the plate between the intake and the block. It has a gasket that can over time warp or blow out, causing the intake to suck oil out of the motor and into the combustion chambers.
There's a sticky at the top of the 2nd Gen Tech Section. And there's a plenum picture thread in the General Discussion section. Check em out
