Small Block -oil filter base
While assembling my S&J remanufactured engine, i discovered there is no base to mount the oil filter to.
The block is designed for it, but i have not been successfull in finding any data on what is needed for the mounting base to the filter.
Everything that it would attach to is there, the threaded center hole for stem to screw filter onto- minus the stem
The port for oil to pass thru and then there is a threaded hole with a plug screwed into it to seal it.
Could anyone explain what i need and how its installed.
Its a 5.9L Magnum small block for 95 Ram 1500 4x4.
I never had to purchase a bare block to work from before.
Here in interior alaska these parts are much harder to find than gold, most days.
Thanks for any help.

You have been a great help.
Now i can get this critter moving.
If you ever find your way to Fairbanks early July 4th-30th, let me know.
Salmon fishing, fill you freezer and then some. 6 per day, only takes about 1 hour to limit out.
Fish anytime with 22+ hours of daylight, no hurry.

I meant to say "parts" manual in my previous post. Sorry to the OP.
