first you bought a 1500 gasser...
second you put STACKS on a 1500 gasser!

I don't even like stacks on a diesel, but at least they make more sense on a diesel...they dump black smoke and turn their rear fenders and trailers black when they are tuned. a stack would get the smoke away from both... but a gasser?! really?!

the only stack I can have any appreciation for is a hood stack...they just look sexy on a big sled puller or built drag truck.

speak for yourself. mine does both and if necessary can do both at the same time

trying to imply that all trucks are slow?

Yup. Your Cummins is fairly well modified. I think I recall you saying your truck stock was so slow our 360s could beat you.

Even the new Hemi's aren't all that fast. More power though...

The F & F movies are about the dumbest fvckin series in the history of Hollywood. Pathetic and unreal. Each one gets even more unbareable.

And if JS is in the "new" one, I just lost a lot of respect for him.

I refused to watch any when they first came out no matter how badly my son wanted to see them. He became a big fan of the movies and kept yammering on and on about them while I always rolled my eyes. During one winter break, he told me that I *had* to watch the movies since I was always making him watch stuff, so I begrudgingly obliged.

And I actually enjoyed them. The stunts are so ludicrous, and the driving scenes so wild that the F&F movies are fantastic, mindless popcorn flicks. I even took him to see Fast 5 when it hit the theaters and enjoyed the bank heist at the end.

Skip ahead to 3:00 in this clip. That's no stunt. The driver is a professional drifter and pulled it off in one take. Not my cup of tea, but dammit I'll give him mad props for his skill.

Need I remind all of you of a famous Mopar from around '77 and '78? The Dodge Li'l Red Express!! Which had stacks from the factory! (;

And it was also much faster than your truck.

So yours doesn't count.

True, true...however, it's close! One day, if my 318 ever goes, I'll either get a stroker kit and rebuild it, or just throw a 360 in there.

Entertaining? Yes.

Why? Because they are so damn ridiculous, it will make you laugh.

The first one was just stupid.

The 2nd one had soooooo much CGI it was plain pathetic.

The rest just got way out of hand with BS.

I haven't seen 6, and probably won't till it comes on tv for free. I'm not wasting my money to see it at the theater or on PPV.

Back OT, the stacks probably are the problem...they're too small. Need a couple 10"ers.
