Got a new job, and im heading further south! anybody in the area? Spent most of my life in west Texas so the gulf area and the big city is gonna be interesting, plus the humidity. Hopefully BigRed can keep up in Traffic! goin from a town of 220k to several million is gonna be fun.

I lived in Houston for many years till about a year and a half ago when I bought this place in Liberty county. Still only about 35 or 40 miles from Houston now.
Be aware that Harris county has emissions testing, so if you gutted or don't have a cat. you'll have to make a change before sticker time comes around.

All I can say is, good luck! The humidity in Houston is a beach.... I know in Lubbock it seems hot, but add 30% to the humidity, and it is hell. Take time to get acclimated. I am about 2 1/2 hours northwest of Houston just off the major highway between Austin and Houston (290).

What part of Houston?

True, it's more like 10% out there. Missed that part.

As far as an understatement, that depends on how the wet season was.
