and people that buy e85 make me pay more for corn on the cob.

I thought the conversion kits also retarded the timing along with changing the flow to allow more fuel to flow in.

Common misconception. They use different corn completely. You eat sweet corn, this is corn that is grown to be used to feed livestock and such. The ethanol plant uses the corn, takes out of it what needs to be used and sells the byproduct back to the livestock owners to use as feed. What is driving up the cost of your cob is the price of fuel to transport the food.

but those fields that are now growing for ethanol use to be growing corn for me to eat.

Very few fields grow sweet corn, There are many more animals eating corn every day compared to people.

I'm not here to argue or change anyones mind, I just wanted to know if anyone ever tried a conversion.

Also, you have to find straight ethanol free gas. Like From a pure station, to see the difference.

No one on here has truest conversion to my knowledge

I can attest to never having converted a vehicle to E-85.
