The quiet is nice tho, it doesnt drone at all in the cab and it has a very nice tone outside. Im sure once I can afford the headers I want it will sound a little better to! To answer your last question: loud lol shortys will give you a nice rumble!
I've been lynched for preaching the thrush turbo in the 3rd gen section even though it flows less than stock. So I don't preach it anymore.

Hey, I am on your side...I thought the thrush turbo was perfect for me. Could not beat the price either....now, it may have rusted out in a year....

I honestly got a little boost from switching them out. No joke. Even Mr. Killjoy, my dad noticed it. It held gears better up hill after the change out and made plants get very uncomfortable when I revved the engine. Stupid old plenum clogging my factory muffler!

Now you know why.

I've thought about getting a better flowing muffler, but all of them are more than I'm willing to spend.

Yeah, my Thrush Turbo cost me $27.

I looked at Dynomax Ultra-Flo's...they're ungodly expensive...

Yep. $27 with tax here at FailZone.
Maybe you should have taken a field trip south.

How are them mufflers dodge dude? I should go ahead and put on another muffler while I'm doing everything if they sound good. Mine isn't too loud, just alittle haha.

And good, I want my truck to be loud and sound good.
