Default This Exhaust Setup Any Good?

I plan on doing the rest of my exhaust here in the next month or so and I need you guys' opinions.

I already got a knockoff Flowmaster muffler 1 into 2. I'm planning on getting some Pacesetter shorty headers, Magnaflow direct fit high flow cat, and an offroad y pipe.

What do you guys think, and I was also wandering how this would change the sound and performance?

The direct fit cat, and the off-road y-pipe are going to want to occupy the same space. One or the other, not both.

Or, off-road y, and a single in, single out, universal high flow cat.

How will it sound and perform with the direct fit high flow cat compared to the offroad ypipe with the universal cat?

Doesn't the direct fit get rid of the ypipe all together?

Universal cat will be a tad mellower. But performance wise I don't think you'll notice the difference.

Running no cat will be WAY louder, throatier sounding. I would definitely go with an off road pipe and swap the stock back when it's time for an e-test. I was disappointed with the sound of my super 44 prior to deleting the cat.

Offroad y plus universal will be a little mellower I would imagine. Id just get the direct fit (wait I did! ), why pay for 2 parts when you can pay for one?

Plus the Magnaflow direct fit cats are a better y-pipe anyway.

How's yours sound Johnn? I was looking at getting a cherry bomb but I can't find them anywhere. My muffler don't sound like nothing after 2,000rpm right now.

And thanks for all the opinions. I'll stick to the direct fit and shorty headers. How much louder will my truck be with that cat and headers put on?

Its quiet. Really quiet. I couldn't hear it until I put the high flow cat on it. For the money I spent on it thinking it would be louder I probably should have just bought a thrush turbo considering there $70 less... (beat ya to it dodge dude!!!) The quiet is nice tho, it doesnt drone at all in the cab and it has a very nice tone outside. Im sure once I can afford the headers I want it will sound a little better to! To answer your last question: loud lol shortys will give you a nice rumble!
