I got the part in and took some sanding to get in, which is to be expected. Overall happy with the tighter steering.

What was making anxious about the wait on the part is that I waited until my steering had got very bad before I ordered the part, so I was dealing with bad steering while I was waiting. Everything is good now though!

Default feel after install

Yeah you can tell the improvement. You can adjust to very lite resistance to hard to turn resistance according to how far in the old bearing housing you drive the new bushing in. I probably have 75% of the new bushing in. I actually have to put an effort forward with my hand & arm to move the steering wheel, which is way it should be. Before my steering wheel was looking like a metronome for keeping beat playing music, as I was driving straight on a flat highway, if you know what I mean. Think you will be happy, but plan a half a day to play with the feeling and sanding to where you find your sweet spot, and then you place the non removable retaining ring. you will definitely want to put new bushings in all your steering components and track bar as well as sway bar while you are at it to tighten those areas up. New Ball joints as well will help overall ...

So it's pretty much an adjustable bushing? I've got my steering box set pretty tight. lol

Sorry for late reply. Here in Mississippi we are lacking on availability of internet. Really ....

Yes it is an adjustable bushing basically made from a strong polymer, almost like a hockey puck feel. Takes the wobble out of steering wheel mainly
