My two trucks
Recently bought a second truck so I thought I'd make a thread showing both of my trucks.
First up is my 1995 2500 2wd 12v cummins. I bought it as a regular cab long bed, then I cut the frame and shortened it into a regular cab short bed.
When I bought it

Shortened it

How it sits now

And my second truck is a 1995 2500 4x4 ECLB 12v cummins 5 speed

Truck needs some body work, but it came with many parts, both front fenders (inner and outer), both doors, an extra hood, 2 spare rims and tires, both rear side glass, a muffler and cat, and a few other parts.

And I plan for the shorty is to build it up and paint it all white, I have a new front bumper, plastics, and rollpan waiting for it.
I haven't decided what I'm going to 4x4, the bed is black (just spray painted was red) previous owner thought it was a good idea. And the cab is green. All the extra parts are again spray painted black. I'd like to switch out all the parts but I don't know, I might go look through junk yards for parts that are green then just spray the rockers with bed liner so I don't dump a bunch of money in the body work for that one.
The 2wd won't be a daily driver and won't do me any good in the winter. Since I shortened it I try not to drive it in the rain too, too much torque for something with such a short wheel base and so light in the rear.
The 4x4 is my daily driver. And gets a lot better fuel mileage then the 98 did.

What you save in fuel costs, (which isn't too much anyways since Diesel is about $0.30 higher than gas) you will pay for in insurance.
