Default Looking for that deep, heavy exhaust sound

Just picked up a 97' 1500 w/ 5.2L. First order of business is to cut off that quiet factory exhaust. I'm partial to that deep, heavy exhaust note. Anybody have any suggestions. Not looking to do headers just yet. I went on YouTube and did some searches but, the sound quality is pretty poor. They all sound the same really. let me know whatcha all got.

I would go with magnaflows loudest muffler or a stainless flow master super 10. You'll want a high flow cat as well.

I got a super 44 with a gutted high flow cat.. Sounds nice but its a dual chamber muffler and will eventually rust out..

When I had a 44 and gutted cat. I got tired of it. Now I have a cat and Thrush Turbo muffler. Don't have a sound clip of it though.

Magnaflow. If you keep your cat almost anything will give you a deep rumble from idle to 5000rpm. If you drop the cat then you will get a lot of the loud glass popping crap at around 3000. But magnaflow is the best muffler you can buy.

I have headers and straight pipes w/ glasspacks. Has a nice deep rumble, none of that back pressure crackle. My truck isn't obnoxiously loud unless I stomp on it, haven't been pulled over yet, but people do compliment me But I live in Florida, so I don't run cats.

This guy has 2 chamber flowmonster's on his 5.2L and they sound pretty good:

But whatever you do don't straight pipe it, I true dual straight pipped my 5.9L and I absolutely hate it it's so loud.
