Yep, I've anchored my ATV to a tree and used the 2500 lb Warn in combination with a couple of ****** blocks and a 30' tow strap to pull a Camaro out of a ditch about five years ago.

Gotta watch those camaro's though, just as likely to pull something off, as to pull them out.
