New Dash - Anyone had the nerve?

I use a sun shade religiously whenever the truck is parked in the sun, the windshield and side windows are tinted as dark as NC Law will allow, have window visiors so I can leave the windows open about 3/4", and at home and work I am not able to park in the shade. I guess I could use one of those dash carpets.
Does anyone have experience using Armor All or Meguiars on a replaced dash?
