i wonder if its a error in their build sheet query.

i spoke with the cowoker today, he states we're gonna do the transition next weekend, since its a long weekend,... which means i take possession of the truck then. It works out fairly well, as its when i get paid, and i dont wanna take possesion without giving him at least 1 payemtn.

I paid $1,000 for my 87. 2.5L 4-spd manual.



runs and drives like a top, straight body. was no rust till it got rear ended, but the damage is minimal. replace the tailgate and rear bumper and damage is fixed.

that common rail may have been able to push it and dent it a tiny bit, but he probably didn't realize that S10 is a tank... all steel bumper and body. S10 took the hit like a champ.


all I've had to do to it: temp sensor ($5) oil changes and gas...

I swapped wheels and tires with my old 89 S10 that I sold to a buddy, and swapped the rear axle between the two so my buddy would have a working ebrake, and I would have my disc rear brakes and posi rear end.

also put a sound system in it and replaced the stock dash speakers with infinity speakers. also has infinity 6x9's in the rear driving each 6x9 @ 125w with the gains turned down a bit... (speakers are rated for 110w RMS)

soon to get a 5spd swap whenever I get around to it and the old man gets his stupid tractor out of the shop...

have a parts donor truck with a 5-spd in it that should bolt right up.
