Well test drive was somewhat a success. Everything seems good, but the calipers. Truck always wanted to head to the right, coasting to a stop would happen rather suddenly, truck felt like I was towing about 6 thousand pounds and the trans was running at 162 instead of the normal 140, and the brakes got EXTREMELY HOT. I'm not surprised since the axle was sitting outside a few years. I'll fix the brakes tomorrow.
Looking good!
What's next for the rear? Another D60 (cause they gotta match...)?.
60 or 70, was waiting for a cheap one w/ disc brakes since I wasn't in a hurry, but plans changed I guess. Plus side is my better half said I HAVE TO GET A MATCHING REAR because having different rims front and rear is stupid! (I knew I married her for more than just her big *****)

Sounds like a plan. I think that the D60/70 even with drum brakes wouldn't be bad, especially if you upgraded the wheel cylinders to GM 1-ton cylinders. The darn disc brake rears are hard to find. lol
And when the wife says your truck looks stupid, ya better fix it. Besides, it's a great excuse for more mods!
