Default New guy just saying hello.

Hello everybody. Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Jim and I am the proud new owner of a '99 Dodge Ram 4x4. Internet forums usually contain lots of useful headache saving information and this seems like one of the good ones.
Hope nobody minds my hanging around trying to soak up all the knowledge I can about Ram trucks.
Jim

Welcome to Dodgeforum

First order of business, head to the tech section and read the stickied plenum thread as if it isn't fixed yet, you will need to fix it

Also pics are always welcome

I have glanced at the plenum thread. Didn't know anything about that until after I bought my truck. Really hated to learn about this problem. My truck doesn't seem to be using oil and runs fine so I guess it's ok for now.
I did buy this truck with the intentions of keeping it for a long time so I will fix it when needed or when I get some extra cash if I should try to be pro active.
Right now I need to install the rocksolidramtrucksteering fix that I bought. I am hoping that it gives me good results. Might try to do it today.
I need to do a little studying and learn how to post pictures.

Jim
