I have a 3" body lift on my truck. As far as being dangerous and unreliable, I don't know. Something bad could happen, but the chances of that are low. I used to go pretty hard on my truck in high school and I haven't had a problem with the body lift. Although I'm not a big fan of my frame showing so much.

Thanks man. I'm keeping them when I go with 35s. Might not if I go to 37s.

Good to know. But I don't see it showin too much in your picture? Would a 2" body lift be good then? That'll give me 7" plus if I switch to 35s, that should give me alittle more.

How thick of a wheel spacer did you use before the lift there?

I would only do a 2" body lift if you're definitely going with 37s. 35s look awesome with a 5" lift. But this is what 35s and a 7" lift look like.

2" in the rear and 1" in the front. Make sure if you ever get spacers, get "hubcentric."

Oh wow, my 33s would look like scooter tires with 7" of lift. I might just hold off and go the 35 route until I get my 4.56s and some extra cash. Then I'll do the 2" body lift and look for some 37s.

I'm putting my old 265x75r tires/wheels back on for winter so mine will look dumb for awhile. These wide tires just suck in snow though.

Before I got my new 35s I used to have 33s.

I went the 35 route until I can afford a 60/70 or even a 60/60, then I'll get some heavy-*** Toyo's. You might want to think about 4.88 gears if you're going to eventually get 37s. In my opinion, 4.56s are for 35&36 and 4.88s are for 37&38.

Everyone starts at 33s, haha.

But I'm weary getting 4.56s so I doubt i'll go 4.88s. I need to be able to drive highway and go atleast 85.

What's some good places online here besides discounttiredirect and tirerack to get tires? Nowhere around here even sells 35s and I've been looking on craigslist.

I figure somewhere around Jan 2014 I should have all the 7" lift front parts out and up for grabs, you would need to find the rear parts IE leaf springs as I am keeping mine. Let me know if you are into those parts. Heck of a lot better way of going instead of a body lift. Or you can buy my 10" lift parts off me now lol.

Just short of the long arms and some steering parts I have everything else needed/ready to go up to 10" lift. Oh yea tires 10" of lift and 35's won't look to good lol.
