Sorry for bringing back an old thread but couldn't figure out where else to ask this..

Can anyone identify this rear diff? Its on a 1500 im eyeballing. I've been told its a Dana 80 out of a 95 ram 1 ton cummins but im having a hard time matching it by the diff cover.

Ask for the BOM numbers off of the axle. If they cant find them then they dont know what theyre taking about. Get the BOM number and then run it here

it should be 10 bolts. And an 80 should be cast into it somewhere.

Its definitely bigger than a 60. BOM should tell you everything

If its from a 1 ton, itd be a dually axle. I cant tell if its a dually or not. Looks bigger then a 9.25 for sure. Need BOM number to be certain!

From what I've seed in pics it's not a dually axle. Its a single wheel on 37s. Hes convinced it has a dana 70 (yes, 70) front and an 80 rear from a 95 cummins 1 ton. He swapped the axles. Instead of arguing with him, ive matched the front diff cover to be a 60.I've asked him for the numbers, nothin yet.
