Question towing

I am looking at a 1998 dodge 2500 V10 with 200,000 miles on it,so how many miles are they good for? Also will it tow my 16,000 # 5th wheel as my 5.9 wont do the job?
Thanks Ed

Find the tow ratings for it and go from there. It seems like a lot for a 2500, but I wouldn't be the one to tell you for sure.

How many miles an engine is good for is dependent on many many things. If the engine has not been properly maintained, well, it wont last for very long. Kinda hard to just guess. 200k is a lot of miles. How was it used? Was it a tow rig? As far as towing ability, search the internet for towing capacity for this truck. Should be fairly easy to find out.

Not even close. Even the one tons aren't rated for a 16K pound trailer....... Are you sure that's the correct weight?
