Default truck length wheel base length

Hey Guys Im wondering what is the truck length and wheel base length
Im trying to plan if I want to build a car dolly or trailer. and what are some of your thoughts about the car dolly?? 2000 dodge ram 1500 quad cab 2wh dr short bed 5.9

Overall length with rear bumper: 224.1in

would it be hard on a transmission on a dolly?? seals drying out or anything of that nature

Using a tow dolly, and just putting the trans in neutral, is a sure way to destroy your trans. if you want to dolly it, remove the rear driveshaft. Just throw it in the bed.
