I have a 98.5 dodge 1500 the drivers rear tail light harness is messed up pretty bad on socket is there the other one is gone. Is there somewhere farther up the harness that this is replaceable or do I just need to splice a section in? Also I was looking on eBay and is there a difference in 94-98 and 99-01 since I have a 98.5 what year tail light harness do I need?

 

Should be able to just get a socket from the parts store, or junkyard. That would be easiest.
