Dodge Topkick!? "Big Red Express"
I'm sure just about everyone has seen the topkicks the Chevy guys build like this:

I've thought about it but I'm really a Chrysler guy, and Dodge made a medium duty version of the second Gen Ram that looked like this:

I have NEVER seen a Dodge topkick so I think it would be extra unique! Finding one of these might be kind of expensive though because they are still kind of new and in use, finding a tired and worn out maybe even dysfunctional truck may be a long shot. Dodge made three other style medium duty trucks back in the day which would be much cheaper to obtain, this style I believe is from the 60s

Then we have this yellow version sold in the 60s as well, not sure if it was sold side by side the green version or what the deal is there. I know the red version was sold from 68/69-73:

This leaves us with only one last version left, the 74-77! There also seem to be a square headlight conversion not sure if it was factory or aftermarket:

Personally I like the 74-77 and even though the Ram looking version is cool it might be much more expensive in the long run, but if I have to stick to an old version it will be the 74-77 for sure. The body lines and fenders look close enough that with some front end/grill modifications, red paint, exhaust stacks and a step-side it would look like the original "Lil Red Express" then I could name it "Big Red Express" haha the trick is making a dually step-side bed. This is the closest I could find it is the right length and it's red but with a tow bed, the dually step-side would have to be completely custom fabricated:

Good point I can kind of see the 18-mimic truck design in the front of a normal Gen2 Ram with the fenders how they separate from the hood line.
That C600 is sweet, and I believe that was a factory offered wheelbase not sure about the step bed but the wheelbase appears factory?
I think the C-series looks a little bigger then the ones I posted, I think that is a completely different class no longer a regular sized cab.
I am pretty good in Photoshop wait until you guys see some renderings, I may just pick up on this project and start a build when my Dakota is nearing completion.

The second gen grille looks a whole hell of a Lot sexier on a reg size pickup
Actually I think it's just those stupidly unproportional Headlights that throws the whole look off

I know me and another person who are currently getting the topkick conversion plans together for our truck. Actually we dont call it topkick more like "kicking over the topkick" Have very big contacts in mexico and I we were able to get these grilles for a few pesos. The newer 3 rd gen lights are bigger and look a lot better. And we have the mexico tow mirrors. There trucks are fueled with propane and sometime cheap gas so we left the tanks. Over $100 american dollar later were still wondering how to deport these items into the US.
However that c600 looks bad*ss
