Default double din radio?

search didn't bring anything up. just wondering if it was possible to install a double din radio in my 99? saw a picture of someone that installed one in the early model year dash. but wasn't sure if it was possible in the later model 2 gens. anyone ever do it? have any pictures?

The radio opening in our 2nd gen trucks isn't double DIN sized, more of a 1 1/2 size. There were a couple aftermarket radios that would work, but are very hard to find and mount. To fit a double would require some cutting and refinishing of the dash.

Jimythefan, i'm not opposed to having to cut, as long as it doesn't look like a total hack job.

sweet. that is what i was looking for. thanks for that link Silconcer. i did something similar in my 97 F150. it worked well in there. i was hoping i could do the same with this truck.
