I have hemifever on Facebook, and he just posted about an hour ago that the x3 is available. I checked the website an sure nuff there it was. Just thought I would share the good news.
canned tunes tuner is 395... custom tuning is 495.
Thats not what I am seeing. It looks like the x2 is going to be available still, at the same prices. For the 3200 X3 it has two options. Stage one is $495, stage two for "open loop" tuning is $595. I could be misreading it though.
Edit: I see it now. The one i was looking at was for heads/cam or a turbo/supercharger. Whoops
I know a lot of people, myself included, were hoping it would at least offer speedo calibration, and I didn't see anything that mentioned it unfortunately.
Does this mean that buying the superchips for $280 is a better way to go? I only have stock/bolt on mods and won't ever require custom tunes....
Can anyone share a reason for spending an additional $120?
I'm no expert, but I believe that getting the custom tunes from Sean (even with a stocker) would help to optimize how your truck runs. Of course, it is ultimately up to you to decide what the value of a custom tune is to you.
