Thanks to everyone! I'll get some pictures as soon as I can. I'm in the middle of a move and my camera is packed somewhere. Besides, the Indiana winter welcomed me here and I can't keep my white truck clean enough to take a good picture. Once I find my camera, though, I will.

I ended up with a pretty nice CB. I mounted it just to the left of the cup holder and just below the ashtray so that the ashtray can still open up. It actually works out well. I have to lean up just a little to use any *****, but I can live with that. It's completely out of the way of my knees no matter how I'm sitting (i.e. moving my leg with cruise on).

So far, the truck has been running great. I think I've already bout around 1,500 miles on it. The only issue is that I've noticed a really high-pitched sound that starts at about 45 and keeps getting louder. RPMs don't matter. It goes up with vehicle speed. Sounds like microphone feedback. Thought maybe it was interference from the CB, but it goes regardless of radio and/or CB being on. It just started a couple days ago. Anyway, I'll figure it out and, if I don't. I'll be asking in the 2nd gen forum.

Thanks again for the congrats and I will get pictures up when I find my camera. I'm old-school tech...I don't have a smart phone. haha.

Could be wind noise. If the doors don't seal nice, that could do it.

You can bend the window frame part of the door in a bit, see if that doesn't take care of it.

Hadn't thought about that. I'll check out where the CB antenna is routed.
