anyone have a carfax account, or unlimited carfax lookups? i need a vin checked, for a jeep we are interested in buying.

Used to be able to get unlimited Auto Check reports, but they've fixed the exploit that allowed people to do that. I'm still working on another way to be able to get them again.

I can get build codes and if the recalls have been done. But its not carfax.

I usually do a one time, or, like when we were looking for my daughters car, I bought like a 5 pack or something like that. If your really set on a carfax, guess you just have to pay for one. Sometimes you can get lucky and the seller will have one. But carfax's are not the most accurate either. Only as good as the info entered.
