Grand Island?? Is there another Nebraskan on this site??

Anyway, It seems a bit steep. From what I learned, if it has the gooseneck ball or a 5th wheel receiver then it was used to tow something big which probably wasn't easy on the transmission.

BUT, it does look really clean for a Nebraska truck.

Kearney , But i asked him about the towing it questioned me too , he said it was just a truck box trailer for hauling wood. it has been serviced and nothing wrong with it. I was surprised with the body condition for the miles

NADA says 6550.00..... So, not as much of a deal as he would like you to believe, and, as stated, it was used for towing...... Still and all, if it is in as good of condition as the seller says.... sure wouldn't hurt to go look.

Well issues that you'll have to deal with are going to be the plenum in the intake manifold. You can get a replacement plate/gasket on Hughes for $60? bucks.

The transmissions have weak spots, but who knows how nice this truck was treated.

Other than simple cosmetic stuff, those are your two big problems.

that dosent sound to bad I do most of the work my self on my truck. I guess the only thing that concerns me would be the transmission. I am keeping in contact with the guy but thing about taking a looks is its about a 2 hour drive.

As long as the transmission has been rebuilt, you should be fine. I've never personally had an issue with a 2nd gen ram transmission after it has been rebuilt once.

To me, I think $6000 is a little expensive for the truck, especially with 170,000miles. It is in good shape though. $4500-5000 would be a great deal to me.

I will see but i dont think the transmission is rebuilt, I figure it will cost about 1,500 at the least to rebuild one . 4500-5000 would be great for me ! I wouldnt offer full price because of the towing and the pressure on the transmission
