Default Engine Wire Harness Year Range

What year range and models will the engine wire harness from my old 1997 1500 fit?

It's the complete harness from the PCM to the injectors, alternator, A/C compressor, main fuse box, etc.

I suspect it will only work for 96-97 trucks. (maybe early 98's, but, I wouldn't hold my breath. 94-95 are OBDI, and the harness is radically different. In 98, the central timer module made its showing, and a fair bit of stuff worked differently than before...

When you say "96-97 trucks", does that cover 1500 only or will it goes up to 3500 gassers?

I should think that it would work for any v-8 truck in that year range.
