Default Exhaust bolts

Does anybody know off hand how many bolts and studs there are on the exhaust manifolds? I have 10 bolts and studs, I'm missing two and I'm not sure which ones they are. I'd also like to know if anyone has the location of the bolts/studs also, I can't find anything on Google or FSM (maybe I skipped over them) I'm able to keep my headers on my new engine and I'm getting new bolts for them. Any help is appreciated

Stock looks like 6 bolts and 6 studs. I don't fully understand what you are doing. Can't you just use all bolts with your aftermarket headers? I thought the studs are just to hold the heat shields on. Here's a picture I dug up that shows stock:

My auto teacher said I should get new bolts and use them over the old ones, but I'm not sure why I need to do that. I, myself, would rather use the locking bolts I have on already.

It's not a bad idea to get new ones. Why not just get what you have now? What do you need studs for?

What kind of bolts do you have for your headers right now? When you say locking bolts are you talking like the Stage 8 kits?

Yeah sorry I couldn't remember the name but they're stage 8 locking bolts. I apologize for these dumb questions but my teacher thinks I should do things differently sometimes and I want somebody else's opinion on them. He wanted different bolts for the fact that the bolts get hot and hit with water they crystalize and rust up. I'm gunna just re use my bolts. I didn't need studs either Snowbound, it was only if I was gunna use new bolts.

Remflex gaskets, Stage 8 SS Bolt set, and you won't have any problems.
No leaks, no loosening, no re-torquing, no rusting.

Haven't had any leakage issues w/ the stage 8 and fel pro gaskets...but my collectors leak because my exhaust pipe don't slip all the way up on the collectors and they leak there.

You happen to have a part# for the stage 8 bolts.
