Need help! Upgraded cam and bored engine block. Do i need special heads?

max is .480 on the 318, which is why i went with the 360...

Where are you getting that from? I can't find anything on that. However, I did find an article here. They are using a .550 lift cam, with stock pistons, and didn't even need to cut the pistons for valve clearance.

,480 is the max for the valve springs you guys know that. Valve clearance issue does not start until you get over .580 or more.

360 has a longer stroke then the 318 so one would thinkvalve clearance issues would happen with the 360 before the 318.
