I was wandering if a buy here pay here tade in value is different from nada? I had called about trading in my truck and said I know the book value and they ask if it was buy here pay here value
Sounds like local terminology. Trade in value is trade in value and will vary by how much markup and the price they have on the vehicle your interested in. Also how clean your truck is. If you buy from them then they can play with the selling price. Best bet is sell it yourself and pay cash. You can use kelly blue book to get an idea what to expect.

I stay as far away as I can from those "buy here/pay here" kinda places. Total rip-offs. They cater to those with bad credit/no credit. Outrageous interest rates, garnish wages or repossess the car if you're late on one payment, dont honor warranties, etc. Buy here/pay here, the dealers themselves are lending you the money and they can put whatever conditions they want on the loan. Read the fine print very carefully at these places.
