trade in value ?

Default trade in value ?

I was wandering if a buy here pay here tade in value is different from nada? I had called about trading in my truck and said I know the book value and they ask if it was buy here pay here value

Sounds like local terminology. Trade in value is trade in value and will vary by how much markup and the price they have on the vehicle your interested in. Also how clean your truck is. If you buy from them then they can play with the selling price. Best bet is sell it yourself and pay cash. You can use kelly blue book to get an idea what to expect.

Its not bad, 2000 ram 1500 ext. Cab 4x4 off road edition, 169000 miles, has normal cracked dash, normal rust on fenders, 20 inch wheels

I stay as far away as I can from those "buy here/pay here" kinda places. Total rip-offs. They cater to those with bad credit/no credit. Outrageous interest rates, garnish wages or repossess the car if you're late on one payment, dont honor warranties, etc. Buy here/pay here, the dealers themselves are lending you the money and they can put whatever conditions they want on the loan. Read the fine print very carefully at these places.

Up here a working 4x4 is worth at the very least 2 grand regardless of vehicle condition.

Thinking trade in poor was 3500, but I would say my truck is fair at the least
