The Official 2014 2nd Gen RAM Forum OT thread
My dad is self employed and my mom is unemployed. My dad never budgets for his taxes, ever, so he ends up getting a huge tax bill every year and putting it on payment plans... With the interest rates on that and penalties, that's always a bad thing.
I cut as close to $0 at tax time as possible and make it a point to owe a couple hundred. I'd rather my money be working so I can be comfortable down the road. Once I get hired full time from my current contract-to-hire gig, I've calculated 25% of my income will go straight into a 401K along with my $5,500 IRA contributions. Once I hit 55, I'll pour even more into my IRA for the catch-up contributions.
Had I been wiser in my younger years, I would never have dumped money into the VW hobby but socked it all into my IRA and could have been eying semi-retirement at 50. Screw working full time.

Imagine what your financial situation would look like if that money (10,000/12 = $833) was invested in a long term Growth/Mutual fund retirement account. The annual cap for those under 55 is $5,500, but even maxing out a 401K at $18,000 is quite a yield come retirement time.

Doesn't look like a quad cab to me. Looks like a standard extended cab. If it was a quad it'd have 4 doors. Extended only has two. I'm not aware of dodge only having three on the 2nd gens as I've never seen it.
Yeah, I meant do both the rear doors open or just one. I don't know what year they started adding the rear suicide doors on the extended cab. I know my 97 did not have them.
