Thanks HeyYou.

Today a friend gave me an old Lincoln stick welder for me to learn with. That thing is HEAVY! So I'll finally be learning electric welding. Haha.

He also gave me an old oxyacetylene hose and torch setup (minus the tanks) so all I have to do is get tanks and I'll have a torch again.

And it's snowing/sleeting.

Been snowing on and off all day today. Nothing really meaningful though. We just have a light dusting on the ground. I am not even going to worry about it.

I love my Hot Wrench. Finally was able to pick one up. Next up, Drill Press.

My brother bought a 98' Chevy 1500 350 w/ a 195xxx. Most of the front end is rebuilt and my brother just put in a new starter. What is the concerns with these pickups if any? And any performance tips? I'm curious on both...also does anyone make dust covers for our Dana 44's or does one have to fab one up?

It has the 350 Vortec meh. I like the 'ol TBI better. As for common issues besides IFS (lol) are:

Clogged injectors killing o2 sensors and cat
Fuel pumps die every 40-70k
Leaky intake manifold gaskets
