Lol...

Yup.

What's even better, in times of snow madness like last year our boss is authorized to have someone go get a work truck and go pickup who ever is stuck at home....

think i may have found a truck. i know i still have like 2 months til tax returns. the truck is being sold by a guy i went to school with, and he lives in my town. its an 03 2500 quad cab. 120k on body, 30k on motor. he had it rebuilt by the local dealer. only rust is on the rear wheel wells, and its just starting.

hes asking 7500, and hes not in a huge hurry to sell it. so as of right now, im sure the price wont move much. but if he still has it when the time comes, im going to try to get it for 5500, or 6k.

Python is used for quite a few things but I have no suggestions on how to learn it. I have never been able to learn it. Just never made sense.

Looks pretty fair priced, but by rebuilt does that mean head gasket, or is it bored and that kind of stuff?

I wouldn't give $6,000 for it. More like $5000. Unless it had a true through and through rebuild on the engine. With the rust starting you're gonna have some problems and who knows what else the bodywork is hiding.

read above post about engine...

body, im not to concerned with, because if i do buy it, the truck, and my jeep will both be going to the body shop for rust repair.

both vehicles will get an anti chip guard, and will also never rust again!

ill also, have plenty of time to get it fixed up. ill plow thru the winter with my 2nd gen, and save up my pennies for goodies for the 3rd gen.

It depends how esoteric the questions might be. While I can and do sometimes work in Python it's never my first choice and I do it only because I've got otherwise good clients who've got suckered into reliance upon an application written in it. For the most part, the teaching languages are best suited to the needs of instructors who like bondage and discipline languages and their One True Way paradigms because it makes the homework easier to grade.
