The thermometer read 38 here yesterday but it felt more like 60. There were a lot of folks out walking or jogging. One dude was wearing shorts and a wife beater.

There were many more folks out riding their mountain bikes and several more on motorcycles. Strange weather for the day after Christmas indeed.

 

the time has come, tax season! i know im getting a new truck, 3rd gen 3/4 ton, and ive found quite a few!

anyone else have a shopping list for this years tax season?

 

I am just going to pay down some bills. Going to need to replace the wifes van here in the not-so-distant future..... so, gotta have some cash on hand.

 

I think I'm going to put the money's towards school and a 5 speed swap.

 

You goin Cummins or Hemi?

 

hemi, for now. ive always wanted one, so nows the time.

however, if i could find a 04 and up 3/4 ton quad cab short bed cummins for 8k id be all over it!

like i said.... ive found a few. im looking for an 04, and up to about 06-07. i dont want an 03, because it was the first year of the hemi, and they had a lot of issues with them. also i dont like the look of the steering wheel/interior on the 03 either.

 

I got nothing bad to say about the hemi aha, great motor. Was gonna say look for 04+ truck, for the same reason.

 

I break even every year. No big spending spree planned.
