Default Pitman arm

Anyone got any ideas on getting the pitman arm out? Ive pb blasted everyday for a week, heated up for about 15 minutes, used (and broke) multiple wheel pullers, and the pitman arm pullers just pull open on the jaw and wont budge the arm

Are you replacing it? Of just need to take it off to fix/replace the steering box? If you are replacing it.......

Get two, two or three pound single jacks. (big *** hammers.)
Heat the thing to a nice shade of red.
Hold one hammer against one side of the pitman arm, where it hangs onto the steering shaft.
Use the other hammer to SMACK the pitman arm directly opposite the other hammer. My guess is, two or three good solid hits, and it will fall off. Might even work without heat, if you want to be able to bolt it back on. (It WILL deform if glowing red, and you hit it hard.)

I had trouble getting mine off, used penetrating oil, hammers, and a lot of patience. I tried for more than a week and could get it off. I ended up having someone else come over and pull it for me. He used an impact wrench on a heavy duty pitman arm puller (mine got way bent and wouldn't work anymore), while he was using the impact wrench in 1 hand, he was tapping the pitman arm with a hammer in the other hand. It came right off for him.
